Hellga goes swimming, courtesy of competitor superwoman De Day. Day is 5'3", 115 pounds and somehow knocked 6'1", 205 pound Hellga into the drink. I love Hellga (Robin Coleman), but damn! Go De!
I missed this on G4 last night, but luckily someone posted it to DailyMotion. "Rock-solid amazons" Siren and Hellga humiliate Zach Selwyn of "Attack of the Show" in the gym. It's pretty funny.
All I can say is, thank Christ the writers strike is over. Because whoever put Tanji Johnson's face on an ecard with the caption I'm a Stealth bomber for your love should be strapped to the Joust platform and beaten like a rug.
Some of these Valentines Day e-cards aren't so bad. I've got a Crush on you is sweet and Hellga's is funny.
Amazon superwoman Robin Coleman appears in costume as American Gladiator Hellga for an interview on TV Guide's "Reality Chat". Best bit of dialog:
Coleman: "[Hellga] is a medieval word that means 'butt kicker' in Nordic language." TV Guide: "Does it seriously!?" Coleman: "No."
Also, it turns out that it was Hulk Hogan who added that extra 'L' to "Helga", because it looked "more gladitorial". (See what happens when the writers go on strike? It's just like in Planet of the Apes.)
Coleman comes off as smart, funny and charismatic whenever she's interviewed - she's as big on the inside as on the outside.
Update: Is Christine Kim mocking the Hulkster in this clip? (I sure hope so.) Maybe for next season we can do an over-under pool on the number of times Hogan abuses the word "brother".
