Before being officially announced as a gladiator, Erin Toughill is already getting slammed in the press. TMZ ran a story this week reporting that he ex-husband, fellow MMA fighter Clark Bevans, filed some rather unfortunate legal documents regarding Toughill. The two were married for 11 months (2006-2007) before getting an annulment, and Bevans subsequently obtained a restraining order against Toughill, claiming that she had physically assaulted him on several occasions.

Of course there are always two sides to a story. Here's hoping there's not more dirt on Toughill coming after the season two premier.

Professional wrestling news site PWMania.com is reporting that mixed martial artist Erin Toughill has been selected as one of the season two American Gladiators. The story is unsourced but follows several months of speculation that Toughill might be on the season two cast.

According to Erin Toughill's official site, she stands 5' 10", weighs about 150 pounds and has a 72-inch reach, which is pretty formidable.
