Reader 'someone' posted in the forum that 'American Gladiators' finalist Monica Carlson was one of the models/actresses in last year's weird Microsoft 'Surface' ads. For those of you who missed last year's blitz on the tech blogs, the Surface is a prototype that Microsoft apparently found to be so unspeakably cool that it built a short-lived ad campaign around it.

Amusingly enough, Monica Carlson also shows up as an unwitting participant in SarcasticGamer.com's hilarious Microsoft Surface parody video, embedded after the jump.

Update: Apparently I missed this Tuesday when it hit two other blogs. Still, I did google "monica carlson"+"microsoft surface" before posting and found no other posts about it on blogs. The Microsoft Surface team mentioned it on Tuesday, but failed to use the name "Monica Carlson" in a sentence, so Google didn't pick it up. Hopefully the development team will be more careful with their code.
