Erin Toughill on TMZ
Before being officially announced as a gladiator, Erin Toughill is already getting slammed in the press. TMZ ran a story this week reporting that he ex-husband, fellow MMA fighter Clark Bevans, filed some rather unfortunate legal documents regarding Toughill. The two were married for 11 months (2006-2007) before getting an annulment, and Bevans subsequently obtained a restraining order against Toughill, claiming that she had physically assaulted him on several occasions.
Of course there are always two sides to a story. Here's hoping there's not more dirt on Toughill coming after the season two premier.

Maybe they should have picked Lindsey Cope for the new gladiator. You won't find any dirt on that girl!!!!!

Well, they do seem to be picking women in their late 20s and 30s for the gladiator roles, and Lindsey is still very young. Also, we don't know for sure that she isn't on the show. She is telling people that she wasn't selected, but all of the new gladiators are probably under contractual obligations to keep it secret.

Well I would think that if Cope had made it she would be in L.A. filming with the rest of the Gladiators rather than at the Gym in Reno working out every day.

Read the restraining order. She sounds like a really awful person! I won't watch her. Crush is so much better!

Maybe you should all comment on something that you ACTUALLY know something about! There ARE two sides to every story. As for the restraining order.......just b/c he was able to have one granted, does not necessarily mean that ANY OF IT will hold up in court. Not suggesting that she is innocent either; but you should really spend less time judging people which you obviously do not know OR know the facts behind the situation. You people remind me of the same idiots from back in the Salem Witch burning days. Grow up and get a life!

Even if these allegations are true, I don't see what the
big deal is. Erin's ex is a trained fighter as well.

I also know them both. I worked at the gym her husband owns. And, they are both total jerks. Clark was madly in love with Erin, but she was only in love with his money and herself. She did do those nasty things. Clark wasn't lying at all.
